Art Bunten, President

Art Bunten is the President of Arken Technology. In this position, Art is responsible for the strategic direction and overall management of Arken. He has more than 20 years of leadership experience building global development teams as well as designing and implementing global technology solutions.

Art holds a bachelor’s degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and an MBA in Management from AIU. 

Ken Murphy, Vice President

Ken Murphy founded and served as both President and Chairman of The Mail Box, Inc., one of the largest single-site mailing companies in the nation for over 27 years. In 1998 The Mail Box was an IPO component of Compass International Services and has since been acquired by Alliance Data Systems (ADS).  Along with his responsibilities at Arken, Ken currently serves as director and CEO of Label Source, Inc., a label/tab provider, and as director of US Home Systems and several other non-public corporations.

An active alumnus of the University of North Texas, Ken and his late wife Shirley, established The Murphy Entrepreneurial Center at UNT. Ken currently serves as a member of the UNT President's Council as well as its School of Business Advisory Board. He is also an active participant in the thoroughbred industry as a member of the Board of Directors of the Texas Thoroughbred Association and was the leading owner at Lone Star Park during 2001-2003 and at Louisiana Downs during 2001-2002.

Rob Tayne, Director of Sales and Marketing

Rob joined Arken Technology in 2007 to head up its sales and marketing departments.  Rob brings over 14 years of experience in sales and marketing of software products and developing customer relationship management programs for national and international markets.

In addition to his experience in direct sales to franchise and multinational companies, Rob also has experience developing and launching marketing campaigns for various software products.  Over the past four years he has been a Director of Channel Sales where he developed national and international reseller programs working with many large international franchise organizations. 

Mark Wilson, Director of Technology and Business Development

Mark is the Director of Technology and Business Development and is responsible for the Infrastructure and Technological direction of Arken Technology.

Mark brings over 18 years of Information Technology experience to Arken Technology, Inc. He has a wide range of experiences including those gathered from Fortune 500 Companies as well as the Public Sector. Mark's responsibilities have included keeping I.T. systems and Infrastructure secure and operational for small organizations as well as businesses with million dollar a day revenue streams.
